About Us

The winemaking heritage passed down through generations has engraved the essence of the vine as a symbol of special value for personal and family representation.
From these foundations and great aspirations for wine, in 2010 we established, according to the new Wine Register, “Jeremić Winery” as a business unit within the parent company EKO Mineral LLC from Smederevo. Since then, home winemaking has been replaced by a modern, newly built winery, and the vineyards have been expanded and enriched with new plantings.

Today, we cultivate about 12.5 hectares of vineyards, which form the basis for our annual production of 40,000–50,000 liters of wine.
Famous international varieties, from Sauvignon Blanc to Merlot, make up the alphabet of modern winemaking, but our devotion to local varieties, from Smederevka to Tamjanika, reflects loyalty to the terroir and acceptance of responsibility for its representation.
The vineyards at Jugovo are connected by the Danube, between two royal cities—Smederevo and Belgrade. Like the most secure archives, they preserve the history of many rulers, peoples, and customs, as well as their own origin on the shores of the Pannonian Sea.
As if not created by melting millions of years ago, the sandy layers of soil are still full of various minerals.
The roots of the vine easily penetrate through them, deep down, several meters. Every inch deeper through a new layer is another step toward wine quality.
When you add the influence of the Danube—the energy and power of Europe’s greatest river transformed into a mirror for the sun—it becomes clear why the first vine in this part of old Europe was planted here.

Wine here is more than something to drink. It is a vivid postcard that represents us and reveals all our virtues and flaws.
Like a Canon or Sonata in music, wine is a fusion of natural potential, cultural heritage, and our spirituality.
Wines always repay the effort invested; that’s why they keep getting better—because generations have cared for them, worked on them, and passed on a certain energy.
We believe they will continue to become even better and more beautiful in the future, just like the younger generations.
Numerous gold medals from Vienna, Sofia, Berlin, Bergamo, and many other international competitions confirm that high quality is our primary goal. There are no compromises or boundaries.

Today, wines from our cellar are enjoyed in many parts of the world—from Europe, China, and Australia to Brazil and America. The pleasure is mutual; wine connects us, inspires good cheer, and brings us closer together

Every wine resembles its maker, reflecting their spiritual and creative essence, revealing both virtues and flaws.

Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing.

A complimentary tasting is included in the mansion tour. We tried four different wines that we really enjoyed. After the tasting we decided to get a glass and sit outside. The staff recommended a bottle as it would be cheaper for three of us, so we got the Rose Brut and enjoyed it.
